By accessing or using the Plainstack website (plainstack.net) and any services provided through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use our services, including the AI Automation Map tool, consulting services, and any content published on the site.
Services Description
Plainstack provides the following services: AI automation consulting — analysis, design, and implementation of AI-powered automation systems for businesses. AI systems development — building and deploying intelligent agents, workflows, and integrations. Web platform development — design and development of web applications and platforms. Mobile app development — design and development of mobile applications. Newsletter — periodic updates on AI automation, technology insights, and company news. The scope, deliverables, and terms of paid services are defined in individual project agreements between Plainstack and the client.
AI Automation Map Tool
Plainstack offers a free AI Automation Map tool that generates a personalised automation analysis for your business. By using this tool, you acknowledge and agree that: The results are generated by artificial intelligence and are indicative in nature, not guaranteed outcomes. The analysis is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional consulting advice. Plainstack makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the AI-generated results. The tool is provided "as is" without any express or implied warranties. Results may vary and should be validated by qualified professionals before making business decisions based on them.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Plainstack website — including text, graphics, logos, design elements, software, and the AI Automation Map tool — is the intellectual property of Plainstack and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without prior written consent from Plainstack. For paid consulting and development projects, the client retains ownership of all deliverables produced specifically for them, as defined in the individual project agreement. Plainstack retains ownership of its proprietary tools, methodologies, and pre-existing intellectual property.
User Obligations
When using our website and services, you agree to: Provide accurate and truthful information when submitting forms or using our tools. Not misuse contact forms, the AI Automation Map tool, or any other interactive features of the site. Not attempt to exploit, hack, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the operation of our AI systems or website infrastructure. Not engage in prompt injection, adversarial inputs, or any other attempts to manipulate or extract unintended outputs from our AI systems. Not use our services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plainstack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our website or services. The AI-generated analysis provided by the AI Automation Map tool and any other AI-powered features is informational only and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or technical advice. Plainstack accepts no liability for any decisions made or actions taken based on AI-generated content. In no event shall Plainstack's total liability exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Third-Party Services
Plainstack uses third-party services to operate the website and deliver its services. These include, but are not limited to: Anthropic — for AI model processing and generation. Resend — for transactional email delivery. Vercel — for website hosting and deployment. Each of these services operates under its own terms of service and privacy policy. Plainstack is not responsible for the practices or policies of third-party service providers. By using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these third parties in accordance with their respective terms.

Payment Terms
For consulting and development services, Plainstack operates on a fixed-price project basis. Payment terms, milestones, and schedules are agreed upon individually for each project and documented in a separate project agreement. Unless otherwise specified in the project agreement, invoices are due within 14 days of issuance. Plainstack reserves the right to suspend work on any project with overdue payments. The AI Automation Map tool and newsletter subscription are provided free of charge.
Termination
Either party may terminate the use of free services (website access, AI Automation Map, newsletter) at any time without notice. For paid consulting and development engagements, termination terms are governed by the individual project agreement. Where no specific terms are defined, either party may terminate with 30 days' written notice. Upon termination, any outstanding obligations including payment for work already completed shall survive.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
